On the A chord, he hammers the B string (2nd from highest), second fret - x02020

Technique stuff:
The F#m chord may sound a bit off, but it's the bass note that you should listen for.
Also, think of this song as 4 beats per line, but then subdivide every beat into 6
mini beats. That's how he plucks. For example, say "Cheerio Cheerio" for each
beat. (For those who read music, it's in 4/4 time, but think of individual beats
in 6/8, or as 2 triplets)
He likes to hit the bass note on the first beat of every chord, the G string on
the 2nd triplet (or the Chee of the second Cheerio), then the B string on the "a"
of the 2nd triplet (1+a2+a) (or the "O" of the second Cheerio).

In the album version of this song, in the bridge (Lumière darling) the chords are C#m A E B.

[Verse]
E F#m A
You look so wonderful in your dress
E F#m A
I love your hair like that
E F#m A
The way it falls on the side of your neck
C#m B A
 Down your shoulders and back

E F#m A
We are surrounded by all of these lies
     E F#m A
And people who talk too much
E F#m A
You've got the kind of look in your eyes
       C#m B A
As if no one knows anything but us

[Pre-Chorus]
   A E B
And should this be the last thing I see
  A E B
I want you to know it's enough for me
      A E B
Cause all that you are is all that I'll ever need

[Chorus]
          E F#m A
I'm so in love
      E F#m A
So in love
      E F#m A
So in love
      E F#m A
So in love

[Verse]
E F#m A
You look so beautiful in this light
E F#m A
 Your silhouette over me
E F#m A
The way it brings out the blue in your eyes
       C#m B A
is the Tenerife Sea
    E F#m A
And all of the voices surrounding us here
          E F#m A
They just fade out when you take a breath
E F#m A
Just say the word and now we'll disappear
    C#m B A
oh, into the wilderness

[Pre-Chorus]
    A E B
And should this be the last thing I see
  A E B
I want you to know it's enough for me
      A E B
Cause all that you are is all that I'll ever need

[Chorus]
          E F#m A
I'm so in love
      E F#m A
So in love
      E F#m A
So in love
      E F#m A
So in love

I want you to know it's enough for me
      A E B
Cause all that you are is all that I'll ever need
